A Solo Exhibition by Mili Vega
Welcome to my website.
I am pleased to share the highlights of my recent solo exhibition, Sonqollay, held in Berlin.
Sonqollay means "my heart" in Quechua. This exhibition is the result of my artistic journey over recent years, a process in which I have sought to capture my identity and my deepest emotions.
Through my paintings, sculptures, and textiles, I am presenting my collection Renacer, alongside works from my students participating in my annual project in my hometown Catacaos, Peru: "How important is art for children and adolescents".
Through this space, I aim to share how art can transform the lives of young people, nurturing it as a positive habit in their daily lives.
Sonqollay is more than an exhibition; it is the heartbeat of our land resonating in the heart of Europe.
